All too often, Rape-affirming language like “𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙎𝙡𝙪𝙩” & “𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙩” is used more and more. Song lyrics like “𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙩 ” normalised this by objectifying women and calling them names in a high profile industry.

Since the death of #saraheverard there has been an increase in women who want to speak up; they want to share their stories. Alongside this found confidence, there has been a clear shift in attitudes from males in support of this movement #notallmen From the attitudes we have about gender identities to the policies held in our communities, we can all take action to stand-up against rape.

Chelsea, is an inspiring business women & mum of 2 from Portsmouth. After finding herself as a rape victim earlier in her life, she has turned a really negative experience into a positive business outlet. Her new found confidence in sharing her story, has empowered others through her social media & she hopes it will continue to inspire others.
